Text Box:
Can't wait for an event to see my yarn?  You don't have to!
My yarn is available year round at a few yarn shops in Illinois and one in Maryland.  Labeled as "Suzy the Shepherdess Yarn," the yarn in these shops is the same yarn sold on this site and at my events.

Fiber Wild! at 304 S. Main Street in Galena, Illinois.  A perfect weekend road trip! Fiber Wild is in beautiful downtown Galena Illinois.  In addition to tons of yarn, Fiber Wild also has knitting supplies, needles, kits and patterns.  Open every day!  10 am to 6 pm Mondays through Saturdays and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays.

Wall of Yarn at 14 W. Stephenson Street in Freeport, Illinois.  A new store - with new yarns arriving all the time!  Open Monday 9 to 5, Tuesday 11 to 9, Wednesday 9 to 2, Thursday 9 to 5, Friday 9 to 5, Saturday 9 to 2 and closed on Sunday.

Esther's Place at 201 W. Galena Street (Route 30), Big Rock, Illinois.  Esther's Place is in Big Rock, a tiny town you've never heard of that's just west of the western Chicago suburbs, about a half hour west of Aurora and Naperville.  Esther's Place carries my yarn and my pattern kits. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm.  All of the yarn at Esther's Place is from Illinois sheep.

Mother of Purl (The Coppersmith's Wife) can be found at a variety of historical events and yarn shows year-round throughout the Midwest.  In addition to my yarn, they also have patterns, needles and spinning supplies.  Click here for a list of her events.

The Fold at 3316 Millstream Road, Marengo, Illinois.  The Fold is in the middle of nowhere, but is certainly worth the trip.  You'll see her sheep in the pasture as you pull up the lane.  My yarn and my pattern kits are in the Illinois Green Pastures section of the store.  Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Two Rivers Yarns at 17 West Potomac in downtown Brunswick, Maryland (formerly Wendy's Yarns, at the same location).  Two Rivers Yarns offers yarn and classes of all sorts, and is just a few miles from the Antietam Battlefield!  They carry my yarn and my pattern kits. They are open Thursdays through Saturday, and some Sundays. Hours change seasonally, so check their website before driving out.
