Text Box: Privacy Policy

Text Box: I will gladly answer any e-mail you send to me, but I do not keep any sort of database of customer e-mail addresses, nor do I solicit e-mail addresses on this website. I do not send bulk mailings by e-mail. I get so much junk e-mail that I delete most of it, and I am assuming you do the same.

However I do keep a database of street addresses, and two or three times a year I send people on my list a postcard to let them know what events I will be attending in hopes that you will come prepared with a list of how much wool you need for your upcoming projects.

Yes, you read that right - I send an actual, paper postcard that is delivered by the US Postal Service to the trusty old mailbox on the street in front of your house. I feel like a postcard is more personal than an e-mail, and more permanent - I hope you bring the postcard inside and stick it on your fridge.

There are two, and only two, ways to get on my postcard mailing list:

1. If you place an order through the website I will add your shipping address to my postcard mailing list.

2. If you see me at an event you will be invited to sign up for my postcard mailing list. I always have a clipboard and a pen on my table.

Names are removed if I get a postcard that is returned to me because someone moved. I suppose at some point the list will become unmanageable and I'll have to cull it down some, but I'm not at that point.

I do not sell my postcard mailing list, or loan it or rent it or anything else that would allow anyone other than myself to see it. Knitters are a "close-knit" group, and so many of my customers become my friends that it wouldn't serve me any benefit to increase your junk mail and get you all mad at me.

If you have any questions on my policy please let me know.

Wear wool,
